Dr Richard Nankervis
FRACP, MBBS, BAppSc, BSc (Hons)

Dr Richard Nankervis is a specialist Sleep Physician. He has undergraduate degrees in both physiology and allied health. He completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Queensland in 2002. He undertook further specialist training in hospitals throughout Southeast Queensland. He completed two years of advanced physician training in Respiratory Medicine at The Royal Brisbane Hospital and the Logan Hospital and completed a fellowship year in Sleep Medicine at the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

Dr Nankervis is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is also a member of the Australasian Sleep Association and regularly attends their scientific meetings. Dr Nankervis is also a specialist Respiratory Physician. He has been in Private practice in Ipswich for more than 10 years.

Dr Nankervis has extensive experience in the management of sleep disorders including both respiratory and non-respiratory aspects of sleep medicine. Particular areas of interest are obstructive sleep apnoea/snoring, central sleep apnoea, narcolepsy and sleep behavior disorders.
